Terms and Conditions

The rules for using melamar.my.id — what the app provides, what you are responsible for, and how AI-assisted features work.

Last updated: September 15, 2026

1. The service

melamar.my.id (“the service”, “we”, “us”) helps you work on job applications: CV workspaces with an editor and live preview, AI-assisted CV review, a job tracker, interview preparation, portfolios you can publish, and bookmarks.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for activity under your account, so keep your sign-in details private and do not share your account with others.
  • You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction to use the service.
  • One person per account unless the administrator explicitly allows otherwise.

3. Your content

  • You keep ownership of the content you create or upload — CVs, job descriptions, applications, interview notes, portfolios, bookmarks, and messages.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate the service (for example, saving your work, rendering previews, exporting files, and running the AI reviews you request).
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use, and do not misrepresent qualifications, employment history, or identity in CVs or applications.
  • Do not upload credential data or critical documents the service does not need — such as passwords, secret keys, identity documents, or financial account numbers — and do not upload other people's private information.

4. Public portfolios

  • Portfolios are private by default. Content only becomes public when you explicitly publish a portfolio.
  • Published portfolios are served at public URLs and can be viewed, linked, and indexed by anyone, including search engines. Do not publish private contact details, sensitive personal data, or other people's information.
  • You can unpublish a portfolio at any time, which stops further public serving. Copies cached or shared elsewhere may persist beyond our control.

5. AI features

  • The service offers AI-assisted features such as CV scoring, suggested edits, role research, and interview preparation. These outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect.
  • AI output is not professional, legal, hiring, or career advice. Always review suggestions before accepting them and verify facts (employers, dates, postings) before applying for roles.
  • Content you submit for review is processed by AI service providers only to generate the response you requested.
  • Do not enter credential data, identity documents, or other highly sensitive information into AI features.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the service.
  • Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the service, probe or bypass security, or access non-public areas of the app.
  • Abuse AI features — for example, generating spam, deceptive application materials at scale, or content intended to mislead employers.
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission, or misrepresent AI-generated content as verified fact where it matters (such as credentials or references).

7. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers — for example for sign-in, hosting, and AI processing. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. We aim to choose reliable providers but are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

8. Availability and termination

  • We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. Features may change or be removed as the app evolves.
  • You may stop using the service at any time. Accounts used abusively, unlawfully, or in ways that risk security may be suspended or terminated.
  • You can request deletion of your workspace data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

  • The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law — including any guarantee that AI output is accurate, or that using the service will lead to interviews or job offers.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for hiring decisions made by you or by third parties based on content created with the service.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud or willful misconduct).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to the administrator of this deployment — the person or team that provided you access. We will never ask for your password or secret keys.
